Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. She grew up listening mostly to traditional music, old boleros and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana enjoys tangos and the dramatic and opera performances. At age 16 she started singing and studying music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at Toluca at the School of Sacred Music. When she was a student, and a young professional, she performed with numerous chamber ensembles and opera choirs in Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. Following her move from Mexico to America at the age of 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She's a regular solo performer at private parties and events singing traditional Latin American Music. As a local performer and instructor and instructor, her passion for arts and music keeps her active in a variety of different projects. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to have the opportunity to share with others her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes this can inspire younger generations to keep the tradition alive.
